These are amazing photographs. After learning the basics of photography I have much more appreciation for photographers than I had before. Pictures can have a huge impact on the people who view them. They can capture a moment that you can relive over and over again. I’m so excited to be able to understand how to simply use a camera.
My name is Hannah Knight. I was born and raised in Elko, NV. I would like to think that I’ve had an unique upbringing considering that my dad is a geologist and everything in Elko revolves around the Gold Mining Industries. I am currently a Sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am double-majoring in Journalism and English and hopefully minoring in Political Science. My plans in life are to become an investigative reporter and eventually go to law school while working my way into becoming one of Nevada’s state senators. But that is just a rough draft of my life plans. They seem to change quite often.
I am extremely excited to be taking J2150. I had a little set back in my journalism classes because of my GPA, so I am super excited to be taking this class now. I think multimedia will be a very interesting topic. Mostly because it is so relevant in today’s world. I am looking forward to learning all about Final Cut Pro. When you have a career in journalism every little thing you learn can only help. I am looking forward to a difficult but beneficial spring semester!!!
